About New In Town - Your Team
Jacqui Armstrong - Principal
Jacqui has personally experienced life as an expat, having moved interstate numerous times with her husband and two boys. These sometimes stressful but life-changing events have made her aware of what really matters when relocating to a new place.

Kirsty Holland - Writer
Kirsty is an explorer who travelled from the Hunter Valley in New South Wales, to Sydney, to Wollongong, to Germany and back again. Finally crossing the Nullarbor to Western Australia for her biggest adventure yet! "
Kirsty started out as a typical starry-eyed engineering graduate when she decided to take the plunge and cross the Nullarbor to WA when she finished uni. With nothing but an old microwave box full of stuff and a backpack, she rolled up in Dunsborough for her first day of work. Meeting her Husband on day 1 was an added bonus, and when they decided to make the move to Perth after their wedding a year later, they were soon thrust into the world of parenthood – Perth style!
10 years, 1 son, twin girls, and a new house later, they find themselves in the new season of parenting school aged kids and juggling all the demands of work, social lives, and extracurricular activities!
Writing from her experience and the things she has learnt from all her new Perth ie mates, she runs a small writing business, dreams of penning the next great Perth-based novel, helps mums get connected through community groups, and keeps the wheels turning on the Homefront!
